The climbing and hiking season has begun in earnest! This is a view from the summit of Devil’s Head Peak in the Rampart Range looking south to Pike’s Peak about 50 miles away. It threatened rain at the top, but the clouds gave way to blue skies on the way down.
You can clearly see the jagged prominence of Devil’s Head from Denver. At its summit is Colorado’s last remaining staffed fire lookout — and quite a hike to get there — with a view of almost 100 miles in every direction.

The Warriors tied the game a few seconds later, but Andre Miller (on the far right) scored again with one second left to seal the deal for the Nuggets 97-95.
