Lake Dillon in Colorado High Country is still covered in ice. Enough of winter! You can see some of the slopes from Keystone (now closed for the season) off to the left.

Cold, freezing air moving over warmer water creates fog on Lake Dillon. Winter in the mountains is here, and the lake will soon be covered with ice.

The boating season will have to wait. The ice is retreating, but a dock at the Dillon Marina looks forlorn as the calm and cold waters reflect the surrounding snow-covered hills.
