I was up in beautiful Colorado High Country this weekend. This photo was taken at an elevation of about 11,000’ on the Wheeler Lakes Hiking Trail between Frisco and Vail. You can see some of the ski runs at Copper Mountain Resort in the distance.
Lake Dillon in Colorado High Country is still covered in ice. Enough of winter! You can see some of the slopes from Keystone (now closed for the season) off to the left.

Opening weekend panorama at Keystone. Considering it’s Nov 6th, the ski conditions are really good! It was calm, with abundant sunshine, and temperatures were above 50º F (10º C).
