On a Sunday at Keystone it was one of those perfect moments. I started the ski run at the top, deep in the midst of the thick overhead clouds. Visibility was 50’! About a third of the way down I emerged below the cloud deck to find myself alone on the long downhill run. There wasn’t a soul in sight above or below me. It was like I had my own private ski resort — if only for a short while.

The calm before the storm in downtown Denver. A break in the clouds allowed the setting sun to illuminate the city while dark snow clouds loomed above. Despite the stormy appearance, the city received only a light dusting of the white stuff. The rest of the week looks sunny with temps in the 50s.
